Germany most successful nation with 46 medals

Den Bosch – The numerous enthusiastic fans in the Maaspoort Arena in Den Bosch were able to enjoy breathtaking choreographies, athletic excellence and great action on two unforgettable days.

More than 1,750 athletes from nine nations competed for the medals in 34 different categories this past weekend.

The most successful nation in the European Championships was Germany. A total of 46 medals went to the German team, 15 of them gold. In addition 19 times silver and 12 times bronze came.

Great Britain also won 15 gold medals, but with the seven silver and ten bronze medals, it had a total of “only” 32 medals.

In total, at least seven nations came  under the top three in the various categories.

Much more important, however: at the end, all who participated in this European Championship could see themselves as winners with their great performances in front of this large audience.
