European Cheerleading Championships: Highest number of participants since a long time – Den Bosch is looking forward to a great event
Den Bosch – The European Cheerleading Championships of the ECA (European Cheerleading Association) in Den Bosch, the Netherlands, will be a real success story!
On the two competition days on the 30th of June and the 1st of July, spectators will be able to admire more than 1750 participants in their performance during the European Championships 2018 in the modern Maaspoort Arena – the largest number ever at a European Championship!
No less than nine nations will send their athletes to the continental championships this year.
The increase in nations and participants shows a clear trend: Cheerleading is booming and is incredibly popular in all age groups.
The fact that in Den Bosch there is not only a high quantity but also top quality is underlined by the participant lists of the individual countries: Among the almost 200 groups, numerous medal winners of the past World Championships can be found.
