Annett Sobek speaks in Kiev
As a member of the Federal Sports Commission of the CVD Annett Sobek is responsible for rules and jury and can also draw on years of experience as a coach, international juror and speaker.
After many successful coaches and jury trainings, she now follows an invitation from the Ukrainian Association to run training for Ukrainian cheerleading coaches this coming weekend. About 25 participants of the Ukrainian Association will be trained on two days with pictures and videos as well as fault analyzes, whereupon the jury will focus on competitions.
The participants, who for the most part have no active cheerleading background, will experience hands-on on-the-spot to pay attention to what needs to be improved and to pass on their acquired knowledge to their teams.
Sobek is looking forward to the task in Eastern Europe: “Cheerleading is still in its infancy in the Ukraine. I gladly accept the invitation of the Ukrainian Association to promote our sport in this country as well. I would be happy if cheerleading established itself Europe-wide! “
